    Joseph's life provides rich examples of relevant Christian character to teach children. It illustrates how God can use what may seem like negative circumstances to accomplish his divine purpose. but the entire course of history as we know it. Touch on some events in history that would not have taken place had each of these men not lived the. Such a personal and intimate glimpse into the lives of the Smith family! I learned so much more about each of them. There isn't a whole lot written about Alvin, for example, but I came to love him just as much as Joseph and Hyrum. The History of Joseph the Carpenter (Historia Josephi Fabri Lignari) is a compilation of traditions concerning Mary (mother of Jesus), Joseph, and the "holy family," probably composed in Byzantine Egypt in Greek in the late sixth or early seventh centuries, but surviving only in Coptic and Arabic language translation.
